Starting with Taiwan in January, 2024 is a year dominated by political transition with elections in Russia, India, America, amongst others, shaping geopolitics and the global economy.
Consequently, core to this year’s VAC is an examination of what political transition both at home and abroad mean for Vietnam. Specifically, do changing political winds create a risk of delaying or derailing Vietnam’s investment thesis?
Upon this foundation, the VAC will:
evaluate how the choices of Vietnam’s ever emerging class of consumers impact returns from equity and real estate, and
look ahead to potential sources of upside for Vietnam that will crystallise before the next great election cycle in 2028.
